I ordered a 2240 from WallyWorld and then got to looking at the Crosman custom shop page. I realized that for not much more than a stock 2240, I could build a 2400kt with most of the things I planned to change anyway. I ordered the 2400kt and then went back to WallyWorld site to cancel the stock 2240, it was too late, it had been processed. Oh well, I figured I would just return it after it was delivered. It was delivered Saturday, and I looked it over through the clear clamshell. I should have just taken the box back without opening it. Somehow it got out of the package :P and next thing I know, I was in the basement punching holes in paper.  I really like this pistol a lot, No pumping as with my 1377. At least I'll have one to shoot while I wait for my CCS 2400kt. Not one to leave well enough alone though, I have already ordered a steel breech for the 2240.  To make it more accurate of course, not planning any other upgrades to it. ;) Those tri-wing caps sure look good though, and would make it easier for these old fingers to get the cap tight, but that's it......

Buy the cap,you will be happy you did! I have only been here a few weeks and I am already building a HPA.
I got a new Mark II for my wife and kids... I think it was a pretty good trade.

I am already getting the shakes, need more goodies for my 2240. I sent Mr007 a message and he sent me a link, but I can't see it until I get 15 posts under my belt. I've been blabbing all over trying to get them. ;D ;D

the cap will definitely make it easy to finger tighten
if you dont like the noise then a muzzle device will help with that ;)

You will defiantly like the Tri-Wing cap... I had him make mine out of aluminum to match my Art's shack Power adjuster... Get hold of chongman and he can make you a killer SS Bolt Handle....

You can never have to many of any gun take that 2240 and mod the heck out of it.

Can someone translate "Too Many 2240s" is this a USA term ?

You know when you got it bad when you have modded that many guns and you make up a standard 2240 from spares then you keep it standard because it looks unusual  ;)

(Yes I have just done that)

And you always need to have one stashed away as a spare for those gloomy rainy kind of days.
